Herbal scents and pot love

Earlier this year I did my practical for my Advanced Garden Design course ... this was the garden I (*FireFlyExposed) worked on with four other people. We called it "Contained by Design"
Out of the 5 competing garden, this one won ... we won best in show and got platinum (we should have won the water wise prize as well but the water wise judges were numpties ... and we didn't get the cash prize that goes with the water wise )

This is a view from the covered patio to the garden entrance (the herb circle is the lush green either side of the path).
It was a very hard brief, we had to have:
1) A narrow tall space in shade (the blue pots on the left of the patio)
2) an edible circle (it's a deconstructed circle around the patio)
3) Bright hanging tropical (behind the patio)
4) Succulents (to the right and left of the pathway
We also added a fragrant garden with citrus trees

I'm offering this as stock because I am sure someone could find something interesting to do with this!
